The Tools That Help Me Run a Smooth + Stress-Free Photography Business
As a photographer who works a 9-to-5 job, I’ve learned that I don’t have time. I’ve learned that great photos don’t just come from great gear; they come from great systems. Behind every client experience is a workflow designed to save time, reduce stress, and allow me to focus on what truly matters: creating beautiful photos for my clients.

HoneyBook — My CRM + Booking Powerhouse
I know, I know that Honeybook can be expensive, but honestly, I feel like it’s worth it. I’ve tried other systems like Dubsado, Unscripted, Pixieset. Honeybook seems to be my top favorite. It is the backbone of my business. It helps me handle almost everything from inquiries to final payments.
What I use HoneyBook for:
Online Contracts
Invoices & Payment Plans
Questionnaires
Automated Emails
Client Portal
It keeps my business organized and makes the client experience. If you are considering HoneyBook, they are doing a give 40% off referral. You are welcome to join here, no pressure.
2. Squarespace — My website platform
I used to use ShowIt, but I felt like it was too much maintenance. My images would move all over the place, even when they were set in a spot. I wanted something a little simpler, and so I decided to go with Squarespace. I also wanted to be able to sell digital products. So far, it has been great. I’ve been able to look at my analytics from my phone. SEO has been great as well.
If you struggle with web design or want something you can maintain without hiring a developer, this platform has been helpful.
3. PIC-TIME — Client Gallery Delivery
No hate against Pixieset. I feel like if my business were much simpler, I’d be with them. PIC-TIME has been extremely helpful in watermarking my images for the client to choose their selection. It has also been my favorite platform for my boudoir sessions.
PIC-TIME is doing an offer for each friend who upgrades to a paid plan; we both get one month FREE. You can join here.
4. ImagenAI, Aftershoot, and EvotoAI
I was hesitant on using AI to help me edit, but I realized I was spending too much time on my computer than spending time with my husband. ImagenAI is something I cannot live without, it saves me so much time.
Aftershoot is one of my favorite culling software to help me pick images. I want to see if I can bundle with ImagenAI but so far Aftershoot has been my favorite.
EvotaAI is a game changer when I seriously don’t want to edit each individual picture of fly away hairs.
You can earn 1500 credits with ImagenAI — Referral Link here

5. FOUND — My Banking
I wasn’t a fan of the first bank account I opened at my local credit union. Manually transferring money for taxes quickly became a hassle, and I knew I needed something more streamlined. That’s when I discovered FOUND, and it’s been a game-changer. Now I can automatically allocate funds into different buckets—whether it’s saving for new equipment, setting money aside for taxes, or paying myself—and it’s made managing my finances so much easier.
